Farmers are men to be admired for the work ethic, the stewardship of the land, and for their business saavy. My grandfather was a farmer and as a child, I spent many summers out on their farm. Feeding pigs weeds, shucking corn to feed he cows, riding on the Minneapolis/Moline tractor fenders in the field were just some of the things I did out at the farm. It was all part of my childhood growing up in South Dakota.
