At a young age I lived next door to an apartment building where most of the tenants were gay and HIV
Positive. There was a very nice swimming pool behind their building where some of the guys living there invited me to swim with them and we struck up some friendships that lasted for many years and created in me a deep understanding, respect and insatiable desire to appreciate and associate with HIV Poz men. I am HIV negative but am very HIV friendly I enjoy developing friendships and have an ability to seek out and find many nice characteristics in most guys who are looking for a friend with whom they can communicate. If any of you feel the need to chat with an older guy who is willing to listen, and perhaps develop a friendship in the process, give me a shout. There are a lot of wonderful things out there and good guys like us deserve to find and share them.

Acquaintances just happen but friends have to be made, and I am fortunate to have made friends with many gay poz men over the years. Having developed a genuine desire to be a friend to these men, I hope some of you will get in touch with me, as communication brings about reality which in turn creates affinity, the three cornerstones of a sincere friendship that can turn into a most desirable and highly rewarding situation.
