I love laughter, both enjoying it and inducing. I work in theatre. I sing/act/play piano. I also hav e a great appreciation for people who do the same. Creativity and talent are important. I like someone 1) whose life is based in reality, 2) who knows what is going on in the world and 3) (should it-e to this) isn't afraid to be in a-mitted relationship. I love rain. Love thunderstorms. And I don't consider using the air conditioner a waste of money. (It's too damn hot here.) I have and still use a turntable. I need to be surprised. Not by suddenly being introduced to kids, wife, lover, whatever. You know, like breakfast in bed. Dinner when I've been stuck in rehearsal. Visiting me out of the blue. Someone to whisk me off on an all-expense-paid adventure through Europe. It is the little things that count. Spur-of-the-moment ideas are always fabulous. There is nothing wrong with a quiet evening at home watching sit-s. There is also nothing wrong with forgetting the layout of your place because you're never there. There is definitely something to be said about good conversations. I like people who can be good talkers as well as good listeners. I am always impressed by good lighting. I am also very impressed with good advertising. I love cooking. Especially experimenting. You know, challenging yourself to make a fabulous meal with only what is in the pantry. I always surprise myself. The movie "Like Water for Chocolate" explains a lot of my belief in the "power" of food. I am, though, rather picky about what I eat. I love a cold home. At all times of the year my bedroom fan is on. Love my down-forter even though I live in Texas. What song do I have to play over and over again? "At Last" by Etta James. If I could choose a-poser to create a soundtrack for my life: Tom Waits. What author would I ask to write my biography? Noel Coward (I know he's passed on, but I can still dream...) Who would I ask to play me in the Made-for-TV movie of my life? Cary Grant (again a dream, I only wish I could be more like him) Who would I ask to direct my biopic? James Ivory Who will sing (an win awards for!) the title song? either Carly Simon, Nina Simone or Ethel Waters Can you imagine having Noel Coward, Tom Waits, James Ivory, Cary Grant and Carly Simon in the same room. Scary or exciting? I love creating. I guess just creating things. Playing piano. Watching movies. Reading. Cooking. Good martinis. I drink diet coke. Sometimes that is important to know and I'm sorry if this is the point when you stop reading. I love all of my friend and enjoy spending lots of time with them. If free time does actually show it's beautiful face I love to sit and do nothing that is task-oriented while I pet my cat.
