General Description

I'm an ex-academic specializing in Chinese literature, and a fairly advanced amateur classical pianist. Into classical Chinese poetry, classical music (especially the Russian late romantic period), and working out. Moved from San Francisco to rural Oregon so that I could farm and start a self-sufficient community. Over the last four years, I've planted a small orchard (apple, pear, plum, peach, persimmons, cherry, pawpaw, quince, mulberry, almond, etc), and put in 20 raised bed that produces most of the vegetables we eat, a green house for raising fish and fresh greens in winter. Looking for like-minded folks to take this to the next level
