I recently had the thrilling experience of telling the only man i have been attracted to physically and emotionally that i was HIV positive after the best connection I have ever had with anyone and a confession of how we both were looking forward to see what was ahead, he miraculously just wanted to be friends. Now obviously there is more to that story, but the point is that even after four dates and two weeks it took me far too long to get over that rejection. I have never had to do that before and would like to avoid having to do it again. The expression on his face still chokes me up. With that said I would like to find a respectable, educated, confidant, not-fucked-up (no drugs, no emotional problems i.e. suicidal), attractive man who is as interested in me as he is in himself. An interest, love, and passion for the arts and entertainment is crucial as that is the industry in which I work (theater).
