I chose to have unsafe sex in 2001 with a guy I new. He refused to wear a rubber because his dick was too big and he would lose his erection if he wore one. I foolishly yielded my stand and after it was said and done, I later found out I was infected. We never saw eachother again. I have lived the past 8 years in shame and have recently realized that I no longer need to beat myself for what I had done and this choice I made. I am grateful that today I am very healthy and have a positive outlook on my life as a man living with HIV. I now know that life is too short not to share it with someone special, irregardles of my staus. I am now open to being in a relationship that is mutually conributional and loving
