I'm HIV because like so many of us, we had no knowledge of the virus or it's potential at the onset
of the epidemic. I was probably infected in the mid 80's but not diagnosed until 2003. Never been ill and have remained (EXTREMELY) healthy with the meds. My attitude is that I'm 'living' with the HIV virus, and will not die because of it. Something else will be my demise!
