1. I am a retired trucker drove the east coast and mid west. Have always enjoyed being around truckers and their trucks. Truckers live in a world of themselves no one has 9 to 5 hours, we travel and see the country while we are working what gets me the most is when I hear someone say all truckers do is sit and drive they are the one who I loved to take on the road for just 2 weeks and let them see what we all do! Most of them would never last mostly after DOT got done with them! LOL We move America;s Freight if not for the trucker people would not only starve but they would not be able to go buy all the things they do when they shop! Just wish more people would care more about truckers and they have no idea the amount of money a trucker spends on taxes if they are a owner operator, myself I do not know how they even make enough money to pay all their truck bills and still have enough left over for a pay check for their homelife. Oh it gets me when ever I hear someone say wow truckers make big money No they do not and one thing I always say in return is but they sure spend a hell of allot of money to be in this business! Hats off to all you owner operators. I am right off I-80 Berwick exit also be glad to meet you along I-81 north or south of I=80 but no more than approx. 25 miles either way on 81 from 80. just hit me up the more notice you can give me the better chance I will be free that night. I also go by the MIDNIGHT RIDER ON THE CB.
